Project: RTP
Location: Winona, MN
Scope: RTP Company manufactures plastic pellets for use worldwide. So when they decided to demolish an old wooden quonset hut in the middle of their plant and build a new 50,000 square foot two story office and plant addition, they contacted the CVI family of companies. They knew the project wasn’t going to be a simple one because the old structure had to be removed the new one constructed without disrupting the daily plant operations. A new freight elevator and pedestrian walk bridge were also added. This created a safe access to another building at their facility that had previously been under utilized because of its lack of accessibility and concern for worker safety crossing in front of a heavily used truck dock. The project was meticulously scheduled to minimize disruption and was completed without incident.

This project is one of several new construction and remodeling projects undertaken for this owner by Schwab Construction.
